What are Impact Teams?

Impact Teams go out into the community and show God’s love in practical ways.

Our Impact Teams help the needy both during the week (many people at Voyage participate in various opportunities to serve the community as well as help our own people at Voyage as needs arise) and on our Impact Sundays, which occur on every last Sunday of the month.

On Impact Sundays we do not hold our regular gathering, but instead gather around needy people in the Silverdale/Bremerton area to help them in various ways. We value having a community where we experience the balanced Christian life (learning about God, thriving in a relationship with Him and pouring out His love to others).

The last Sunday of every month we meet at 10:30 AM at Ridgetop Junior High as usual for some coffee and treats. Then at 10:45 we go out as a group or in teams to the community at large.

We try to have opportunities that school age children can be involved in and we encourage parents to bring their children if possible so that they can develop the habit of helping those who are in need. Each Impact Sunday might have different arrangements for children, so if you'd like to find out ahead of time what we have planned, you can check out our News & Events page just prior to Impact Sunday for any updates or email us at impact@voyagecommunity.org.

Our goal is to have everyone "on the Voyage" taking part in Impact Sunday. We are striving to be community of people who are selflessly, unconditionally and radically serving God.
