Besides being a great wife and mom and a big part of making Voyage what it is, my wife Melissa is the creator of the very popular home decorating and homemaking website The Inspired Room. She is a part of the writing team for incourage (a Christian women's online magazine) and a speaker at women's conferences and blogging conferences.

Favorite tattoos around town

My favorite was a guy who had Marvel comic heroes covering his arm. I also like Katy Lanier's Rosie the Riveter tattoo a lot.

Hazelnut soy steamer, no whip.

The perfect day (off)

I sleep in. It is sunny. I spend some good time in the word and prayer. Then I go with Melissa to Barnes & Noble with a sci-fi/fantasy book in hand. I sink down in a big comfortable chair with a hot steamer in one hand and my hard bound adventure in the other. We read all afternoon (she reads decorating magazines!). In the evening I go for an exhilarating bike ride and then I watch a recorded episode (or two or three) from a favorite TV series with my family.
